Pittsburgh/New Castle/Meadville, PA – James A. Pitzer, CPA, has been elected to the Partnership of Carbis Walker LLP, Certified Public Accountants & Consultants. As a member of the Carbis Walker Team for over fifteen years, he serves as the Firm’s Coordinator of Construction & Real Estate Services and has focused on providing his clients guidance and assistance with project development, best practices, and helping them with maximizing efficiencies and profitability. Jim utilizes his construction accounting expertise to provide specialized, professional services to contractors and construction related companies.

He is responsible for overseeing the activities of the Construction Team, initiating and monitoring its development and promotion, and the overall development and growth of the Construction Team members and the niche’s bottom line. Additionally, Jim has been a member of the Firm’s Orientation Team, where his responsibilities included training new team members in the areas of audit and accounting services.

Jim is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and sits on the board of advisors for RSM McGladrey’s Construction
and Real Estate Network. He and his wife, Mary, have three children and reside in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
