New
Castle, PA – Walker Benefits, Inc., retirement
plan administrators and consultants, have accepted Scott
Stone as a new Owner.
Stone has over eighteen years of experience
in the Information Technology profession and currently serves
as the Chief Information Officer for Carbis Walker LLP. In
this capacity he is responsible for evaluating new technology
initiatives for the Carbis Walker Group of companies, as well
as oversight of the IT Department. He is the Chairperson of
the Carbis Walker Technology Task Force, Co-Chair of the Paperless
Implementation Committee, and has served on State Senator
Mary Jo White’s Communications and Technology Advisory
Committee.
A two-time graduate of Edinboro University with a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Specialized Studies – Physics Department,
and a Master of Arts degree in Communications, Scott’s
plans include pursuing a doctoral degree in technology. He
is an active volunteer at the New Castle (PA) YMCA and at
St. Vitus Catholic School, and is a member of the National
Ski Patrol and the Western PA Linux Users Group. Stone lives
in Harlansburg, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Rose, and their
two children.
Walker Benefits, Inc. is an independent Third Party Administration
(TPA) and Benefits Consulting Firm headquartered in western
Pennsylvania. Walker Benefits is affiliated with Carbis Walker
LLP, a large regional Certified Public Accounting (CPA) and
Business Consulting Firm. Walker Benefits presently serves
over 500 clients and administers plans from one to one thousand
