The conference included a construction market outlook by Ken Simonson, chief economist of the AGC, as well as an update from Congressman Dave Camp (R-MI-4) and ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee, on construction related legislation that is presently being debated in front of the House Ways and Means Committee. Bill Hildebrand, member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) from Norwalk, Connecticut, discussed the upcoming exposure draft on Multi-Employer Pension Plan Disclosure. The Committee meeting concluded with a presentation on the requirements under the Federal Acquisitions Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards.
