Resource Investment

15% to 25% More Time Invested Over Required Professional Standards

Our commitment to adding value is further supported by our investment of additional time and resources in each engagement for the sole purpose of identifying any potential areas for improvement.

This time is usually spent at the Partner level and usually involves furthering our understanding of the systems, strategic and business plans, and organizational structure. This allows us to become intimately familiar with the details ofhow the systems work as well as understand how the systems and organizational structure support the organization’s strategy.

Further, based on this understanding obtained through the investment of additional time, we look for opportunities to advance the organization’s mission through new ideas and exploring relationships with other Carbis Walker health care clients or friends.

Focus

The health care landscape is constantly evolving. We believe to truly understand the industry, you must be involved on a daily basis. All of the members of our health care team spend 100% of their time working with health care providers. We believe this affords our health care team a level of knowledge that assists them in adding value to our clients.

Cross Training

Bigger firms typically have their team members trained on a specific area such as audit, reimbursement, or tax. While we recognize the benefits of specialization, we believe that engagement teams are better positioned to add value when they understand all phases of health care finance.

Our health care team is trained and has experience in health care audit and accounting, health care tax issues, and third-party reimbursement issues. This allows them to identify value added recommendations during any type of health care engagement. Once they identify an opportunity, it is at that point that they can and will draw upon the expertise of a specialist.
