1946
- Carbis Arthur Walker opens an office for the practice of public accounting in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
1947
- Mr. Walker hires Thomas J. Donovan as an assistant.
1949
- Mr. Walker, Mr. Donovan and Thomas E. Gettings form a partnership.
1956
- The three partners employ four staff accountants and two clerical workers.
1959
- The partnership adds the practice of James A. Armstrong, Jr., CPA and establishes an office in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
1960
- The business expands to Butler, Pennsylvania, with the addition of the practice of Miller Morgan and Company, CPA's.
1962
- Mr. Walker retires, and Mr. Gettings becomes the managing partner of the firm. David C. Kennaday, Richard N. Cutshall and Wallace L. Cunningham join the partnership.
1964
- The firm opens an office in Grove City, Pennsylvania. The partnership admits Fred E. Michael.
1967
- H. Bruce McFadden becomes a partner.
1968
- The partnership employs twenty-five accounting and clerical staff members.
1969
- Richard F. Beisheim becomes a partner.
1973
- The partnership grows with the admission of John A. Fulena, Jr. and Archie D. Gordon.
1976
- The firm includes ten partners, thirty-three staff accountants and an eleven member clerical staff.
1978
- The partners elect Mr. Cunningham to serve as managing partner. Ronald J. Patrick becomes a partner in the firm.
1979
- Carbis Walker & Associates accepts membership in Associated Accounting Firms International (AAFI).
1980
- Carbis Walker & Associates joins the Private Companies Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The firm establishes a client service location in Franklin, Pennsylvania.
1981
- Mr. Gettings retires.
1982
- The Meadville office adds the practice of Kebert and Kean CPAs.
1984
- John T. Frank becomes a partner.
1985

- Michael S. Bshero is admitted into the partnership.

1986
- The total partnership numbers thirteen members with the admission of Michael S. Vincent. There are forty-one persons on the client services staff and seventeen persons on the support staff.
1987
- Mr. Donovan retires.
1989
- The partnership admits Richard J. Gordon, Mark H. Strausbaugh and Terry L. Massaro.
1990
- Mr. Cunningham retires. Mr. Patrick becomes the Managing Partner. The firm adds G. James Nelson & Company, Inc., a certified public accounting practice in Pittsburgh's North Hills. Mr. Nelson becomes a partner.
1991
- There are fifteen partners. The client services staff numbers sixty-nine, and the support staff totals twenty-one. The firm serves over thirty-two hundred clients. The partnership suffers the tragic loss of Archie D. Gordon due to a sudden illness.
1992
- Margaret A. Stadtler becomes a partner serving clients in the Meadville office. Mr. Cutshall retires. Carbis Walker & Associates accepts membership in the McGladrey Network, a service of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP.
1993
- Mr. Michael retires.
1994
- Eric P. Wallace becomes a partner serving clients in the Pittsburgh/North Hills office. The partnership acquires Total Practice Management, a physician billing service.
1995
- The partnership admits Keith R. McCaw, John C. Korloch and Edward J. Lawry. The partnership elects limited liability partnership status. The partnership changes its fiscal year end to May 31st.
1996
- Mr. R. J. Gordon becomes the Managing Partner. John M. Dagnon is admitted to the partnership. Mr. Kennaday and Mr. Nelson retire. The partnership suffers the tragic loss of Mr. H. Bruce McFadden due to a sudden illness. There are fourteen partners. The client services staff numbers fifty-one and the support staff totals twenty. The firm services over fifty-one hundred clients.
1997
- The partnership acquires the New Castle Office of Hill, Barth & King, CPA’s, which is merged into the New Castle Office Practice. The Pittsburgh office relocates from Babcock Blvd to McKnight Road in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Employee Benefits Department opens an office in Falls Church, VA.
1998
- Mr. R. J. Gordon is elected for a second three-year term as Managing Partner. There are thirteen partners. The client services staff numbers sixty five and the support staff totals twenty.
1999
- Partners Richard Beisheim and John Fulena retire.
2002
- The partnership admits K James Hunt and Guy A. Natale.
2003
- The partnership admits Kirk T. Mitchell.
2004
- The partnership admits Michael F. Garczynski and Thomas M. Kublack.
2005
- John T. Frank retires in May.
2006
- The partnership admits Jeffrey J. Petrell.
2007
- Margaret A. Stadtler retires in May.
- Brian Kassalen is admitted to the Partnership (December 1, 2007)
