Kirk Mitchell is a partner with Carbis Walker LLP. He has over twenty years of experience in public accounting serving closely held businesses, their owners and executives. His focus has been on providing tax compliance and consulting services to a variety of clients.

Kirk has significant experience working with S corporations, partnerships and individuals. He has worked exclusively in the tax arena the past thirteen years with clients in a variety of industries, and with many high net worth individuals. Kirk strives to provide a proactive approach in dealing with client issues and opportunities. He has worked with large, medium and small multi-state businesses.

A graduate of Robert Morris College, he earned his Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Accounting in 1981 and his Masters of Science in Taxation in 1989. He recently obtained a Masters of Business Administration through the University of Pittsburgh's Katz School of Business Executive MBA program. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). He also works with a local organization, POWERLINK, which provides a non-paid board of advisors to women-owned businesses looking to grow.
